Late-Breaking Abstracts

Recognizing that results of some high impact research may not be available by the general abstract submission deadline, LBW is reserved for late breaking work. Please read the submission rules before submitting late-breaking work.

Accepted LBWs will be published as CHI Extended Abstracts in the ACM Digital Library. Presenting authors of accepted LBWs will be assigned a time and location to present their poster to CHI 2025 attendees in person or remotely.

A LBW submission consists of an extended abstract (up to 8 pages, excluding references) and an optional appendix. LBWs should be novel, advancing the field of knowledge and not simply confirmatory or a direct extension of previous work. Also, LBWs should not be already presented or accepted for publication in another online or PubMed indexed venue at the time of submission.
