Daily update is a feature in Assistant that lets users receive notifications about updates to your Action at their scheduled time each day. To enable this feature for an Action, configure the daily updates system scene and add it to a conversation.
Invoke one of the intents you’ve configured as a daily update. Users will get a notification when they invoke your Action and then receive the daily update at their scheduled time each day. To personalize the experience, you can offer a daily update registration prompt mid-conversation or as a suggestion chip when the user exits your Action successfully.
Be sure to show the value of your daily updates before prompting the user to subscribe. Too many prompts can overwhelm the user and make them less likely to register. Also, keep the conversation short after triggering the daily update intent to avoid interrupting users with additional requests.
